YBDHC Policy
Estimates Although estimates are free they are adjustable. After our first visit and the installer calls for extras in the install, the price will be adjusted with a verbal word to the customer. Price is to be discussed with the salesman or owner. Customer has to give the installer all phone numbers so that installer can reach customer to give this verbal for extras. Extra work, extra pay and parts are extra, no negotiation. Installer has full authority to stop the job if verbal is not communicated or the customer does not agree. Payment When an estimate is excepted the payment of no less than 50% down for remodel work or 1/3 down for new residential or commercial projects will be made prior to any schedule made. Our schedule can be changed for any reason at any time during the install. Sub-contractors will be treated by the customer as though the customer were talking to an employee of Yours By Design Heating and Cooling (YBDHC). The schedule will change by the installer and work will stop if any obstacles are in the way of the workers installing equipment or materials until all debris is moved including customer's personal "stuff" out of the work space before work resumes. On remodel projects (residentual) allow up to 30 days on rough-in and inspection to be done. Any attempt to contact the owner to speed up a rough-in will result in a verbal warning that the project is in process and will be stopped if the owner calls again. Installer or owner will communicate in due time. No exceptions!
Time Don't demand that a job is completed by your time! Any attempt to do so will be grounds for dismissal of all work. The sub-contractor or YBDHC employee will stop the project and customer will not get a refund! Continuation of project will start again when the installer gives the go ahead. Any time disagreements will not be settled by customer. Installer rules!
Refunds After down payment is made- absolutely no refunds under any circumstance! Service Calls Give the serviceman extreme patients. The serviceman travels sometimes from one part of the city to your house in rush hour traffic. Usually the service call will be set up as an approximant time of up to a 4 hour block. Just remember that in some cases this man will give you much comfort when he is done working on your furnace or air conditioner. Thank you, The management
